Aki Akimoto's Mairimashita to Iwasetai manga ends in March

On Friday, Hakusensha's LaLa magazine revealed in its April edition that the manga Mairimashita to Iwasetai (I Want You to Say You Lose) by Aki Akimoto will conclude on March 24.

Plot of the story: 

Benio Tsunemori is the next head of the Tsunemori yakuza clan. His childhood friend Nayuta will succeed the head of the rival clan, the Watanuki. To resolve a territorial dispute between the two clans, a certain game is decided: whoever makes the rival fall in love first will win.

In December 2023, Akimoto debuted the comic in LaLa magazine. On August 5, Hakusensha published the first volume of the manga's collected books, and on December 5, the second volume. 

The manga Kikaijikake no Marie (Mechanical Marie) by Akimoto will be adapted into a television anime. In March 2020, Akimoto debuted the manga as a one-shot in LaLa magazine. Regular serialization of the manga began in June 2020 and concluded in June 2023. The manga was released in six volumes by Hakusensha.
