The main promotional video and the cast and crew for the television anime of Kōki Fuyutsuki's The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom (Kanpeki Sugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Haki Sareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru) light novel series were unveiled on Sunday at AnimeJapan 2025. The opening theme song "Ai toka" (Something Like Love) by Riria and the closing theme song "Sister" by WON are both teased in the video.

The anime will debut on TV Tokyo at 24:00 JST on April 9 (that is, April 10 at midnight), and on TV Aichi at 25:30 JST (1:30 a.m.) on April 9. On April 10 and April 11, respectively, the anime will be shown on the AT-X channel and BS Asahi.
The anime will have an advance screening event of its first two episodes on March 29 at the EX Tower in Tokyo.
Plot of the story:
Philia hails from a family renowned for producing generations of saints, and she is no exception. In fact, she is known as the most powerful saint of all time, so extraordinarily gifted that many people find her insufferable. When even her fiancé decides he can't stand her, he suddenly calls off their engagement. He's so eager to never see her again that he sells her off to a neighboring country in dire need of a saint of their own. Now, Philia readies herself to face the unknown, fully expecting more miserable treatment. After all, she'd be a fool to expect anyone to welcome her with open arms...right?
