In July 2022, a television anime based on the manga debuted. The anime was broadcast by Crunchyroll at its Japanese premiere. In October 2023, the second season of the anime debuted. The second season was streamed by Crunchyroll once more.
Television animation has also been influenced by comics such as Doujin Work, The Comic Artist and His Assistants, and Hiroyuki's Aho Girl. Kodansha Comics published the Aho Girl manga in English, while Media Blasters published the Doujin Work comic. The Doujin Work anime was released on DVD by AnimeWorks and Media Blasters, while The Comic Artist and His Assistants was released on Blu-ray Disc and DVD by Sentai Filmworks.
