The television anime of Mika Kamisu's manga adaptation of Shirohi's Gorilla no Kami Kara Kago Sareta Reijō wa Ōritsu Kishidan de Kawaiigareru (The Lady Blessed by the Gorilla God Is Adored by the Royal Knights) novel series revealed its teaser image, main cast, staff, and April 2025 premiere on Thursday.
The anime will star (Note: Some character name Romanizations are not confirmed):
Hitomi Amamiya is in charge of managing and penning the series scripts, while Fumitoshi Oizaki is directing the animation at Kachigarasu (in partnership with diomedéa). Yayoi Tateishi is the sound director, Sakae Shibuya is the character designer, and Seima Iwahashi is the composer.
Plot of the story:
In this world, sixteen-year-olds receive blessings from various animal deities. Sophia, the shy daughter of a count, has received a blessing from the "Gorilla God" that allows her to lift weights of over five hundred kilos. Although the girl desires a peaceful life, many people seek her out for her immense power. Eventually, she is spotted by the royal knights who decide to carefully follow the girl who is considered the strongest.
