Gun Gale Online television anime, will debut in October, Aniplex revealed on Sunday at a stage event at AnimeJapan 2024. In July, the first season of the anime will be rebroadcast.
Tomori Kusunoki, who played Llenn, the primary character, is back. Yōko Hikasa as Pitohui, Chinatsu Akasaki as Fukaziroh, and Kazuyuki Okitsu as M are among the other cast members who are returning.
At Studio 3Hz, Masayuki Sakoi will be directing the animation once more. Yoshio Kosakai is back as the primary animation director and character designer, while Yōsuke Kuroda will be handling the series scripts.
The anime is an adaptation of the Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online light novel series by Keiichi Sigsawa, which is a spinoff of the Sword Art Online light novel series by Reki Kawahara. In April 2018, the first Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online anime series debuted, spanning 13 episodes. In 2019, Aniplex of America published the series on Blu-ray Disc and streamed it on Crunchyroll and Hulu.

In the world of guns and steel that is Gun Gale Online, LLENN has been a devoted, female solo player. She is obsessed with two things: donning herself entirely in pink and honing her skills with consistent game play. She soon discovers her love for hunting other players (a.k.a. PK), soon to be known as the “Pink Devil.” Meanwhile, LLENN meets a beautiful yet mysterious player, Pitohui, and the two click right away. Doing as she is told by Pitohui, she enters the Squad Jam group battle.
