The Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha franchise revealed on its official website on Monday that it is starting a 20th anniversary project. The first project is called Lyrical Selection, and it is a television edit of the anime films Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 1st and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 2nd A. It will premiere in October.
A retelling of the original 2004 Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha television anime, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The MOVIE 1st (2010) is regarded as an alternative continuity. In a similar vein, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 2nd A's (2012) is an adaptation of the 2005 anime sequel Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A.
In January 2020, the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series made an announcement about a new project, although it gave no details on its format or media. Since then, Extreme Hearts original animation, which debuted in July 2022, has been written by franchise creator and writer Masaki Tsuzuki. As the anime aired in Japan, it was broadcast on Crunchyroll.
Plot of the Story:
Nanoha Takamachi was just an ordinary third grader going to elementary school. However, one day, she met the mysterious ferret Yuuno, bearing a magical device called Raising Heart, and her fate to become a magical girl was sealed. Before long, she finds herself at odds with Fate Testarossa, a girl from another world, who fights over control of the dangerous and ancient “Jewel Seeds,” and the intervention of the Time-Space Administrative Bureau. Nanoha faces a long battle, but she doesn't want to fight, she just wants to be friends. Can she use her magic to deliver her true intentions?
