Rascal Does Not Dream Novel Series Gets First Short Story Collection July 10

For Hajime Kamoshida's light book series Seishun Buta Yarō (Rascal Does Not Dream), Kadokawa is offering a new collection of short stories called Seishun Buta Yarō wa Beach Queen no Yume wo Minai+ (Rascal Does Not Dream of a Beach Queen+), which will be published on July 10. The images are by Keeji Mizoguchi, the original character designer for the light novel series. A brand-new tale called "Seishun Buta Yarō wa Tropical Summer no Yume wo Minai" (Rascal Does Not Dream of a Tropical Summer) will be included in the book. 

Seishun Buta Yarō wa Girfriend no Yume wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of a Girlfriend), the fourteenth book in the series, was transported to Japan in August 2024. On October 10, the fifteenth and last book in the series, Seishun Buta Yarō wa Dear Friend no Yume wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend), was shipped. A drama CD is included in the limited edition of each book. 

In April 2014, Kadokawa released Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (Seishun Buta Yarō wa Bunny Girl-senpai no Yume wo Minai), the first book in Hajime Kamoshida's series. In 2024, the show commemorated its tenth anniversary. Over 3 million copies of the series are in circulation (not sold). 

The novel series will be published in English by Yen Press.
