The crew behind the four-part anime series Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture (formerly known as Gode Geass: Z of the Recapture, or Dakkan no Zetto) unveiled a teaser and an image for the second installment on Saturday.
The first episode of the anime debuted on Friday in Japan. The release dates for the second, third, and fourth parts are June 7, July 5, and August 2, respectively. In late June, the anime will also be available for exclusive global streaming on Disney+'s "Star" brand.
The new animation is directed by Yoshimitsu Ohashi, with screenplays written by Noboru Kimura. Based on the original CLAMP character designs, Takahiro Kimura and Shuichi Shimamura are once again creating the characters. The Knightmare Frames will once again be designed by Junichi Akutsu. The soundtrack is being composed by Kenji Kawai. Goro Taniguchi, Ichiro Okouchi, and Sunrise are still acknowledged as the authors of the original tale.
The mechanical design is under the control of Satoshi Shigeta. The principal animators are Takashi Hashimoto, Satoshi Shigeta, Shuichi Shimamura, Seiichi Nakatani, and Takahiro Kimura. The director of art is Kazuhiro Obata. Color design is done by Yuichi Kuboki and Ami Kutsuna. The 3DCG at Buemon was directed by Shūji Shinoda. Sound director Jin Aketagawa is in charge. The photographer's director is Hiroyuki Chiba. Editor in chief is Kumiko Sakamoto. Hikari Mitsushima performs the ending theme song "Roze (Prod.Teddyloid)."
