During its industry panel at Anime Expo on Saturday, Crunchyroll said that it will broadcast the anime version of Demon Lord, Retry! R, the sequel manga by Kurone Kanzaki and Amaru Minotake, when it premieres in October. Additionally, a fresh anime promo trailer was unveiled on Crunchyroll.
Crunchyroll will stream the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
Gekkō's animation is directed by Kazuomi Koga. Minori Homura is creating the character designs, while Katsuhiko Takayama is in charge of the series writing. SUPA LOVE, a creator group, is writing the song.
The anime stars a mostly different cast from the previous anime, including:
Kenjirō Tsuda as Hakuto Kunai
Momo Asakura as Aku (replacing Kanon Takao)
Azumi Waki as Akane Fujisaki
Iori Noguchi as Eagle (replacing Akari Kitō)
Aina Suzuki as Luna Elegant (replacing Kaori Ishihara)
Wataru Komada as Isami Tahara (replacing Tomokazu Seki)
Minori Suzuki as Mink (replacing Chiyo Ousaki)
Mirai Tachibana as Organ (replacing M.A.O)
Kentarō Kumagai as Zero Kirisame (replacing Showtaro Morikubo)
The manga is a continuation of Kurone Kanzaki's light novel series Demon Lord, Retry! (Maō-sama, Retry!).
Plot of the Story:
The Demon Lord continues his adventure in this revamped series! After encountering the mysterious entity in the lowest level of the Bastille Dungeon, he sets out for Hellion Territory, where Grand Devils vie for domination of the realm. With the addition of a new advisor—the (seemingly) hopeless optimist Akane—the Demon Lord's army grows even more colorful, and their hijinks even wackier.
