The Ishura anime staff revealed that a second season will be coming after the show's twelfth and final episode on Wednesday. The staff also unveiled a unique video and teaser image in conjunction with the announcement.
On January 3, the animation debuted in Japan across 22 channels, including KBS Kyoto, BS Nippon Corporation, and TOKYO MX. Beginning on January 10, the anime will also be available to watch on ABEMA and Kadokawa's YouTube channel in Japan. The anime can only be streamed on Disney+ globally and Hulu in the United States.
At Passione, Yuki Ogawa is in charge of the animation while Takeo Takahashi serves as the chief director. The series texts are written and overseen by Kenta Ihara, while the CG animation is handled by the studio sanzigen. The opening theme music "Shura ni Otoshite" is performed by Sajou no Hana, and the closing theme song "Hakka" is performed by Konomi Suzuki.

Plot of the story:
In a world where the Demon King has died, a host of demigods capable of felling him have inherited the world: a master fencer who can figure out how to take out their opponent with a single glance; a lancer so swift they can break the sound barrier; a wyvern rogue who fights with three legendary weapons at once; an all-powerful wizard who can speak thoughts into being; and an angelic assassin who deals instant death.
