The anime Monogatari Off & Monster receives new stories about Yoasobi's theme song

Monogatari author NisiOisin released two new short stories "Nadeko Past" and "Shinobu Future" on the official Monogatari website on Sunday. The stories are the basis of the MONOGATARI Series: OFF & MONSTER Season anime's theme song "Undead" by YOASOBI. YOASOBI released the song digitally on Monday. 

Beginning on July 6, MONOGATARI Series: OFF & MONSTER Season will only be available for streaming in Japan through the ABEMA service. 

The anime is directed by Midori Yoshizawa, while franchise veteran Akiyuki Simbo is in charge of main direction. With Simbo and Miku Ooshima penning the screenplays, Fuyashi Tou is back to supervise the series scripts. As chief animator and character designer, Akio Watanabe is also back. The soundtrack is once again composed by Satoru Kōsaki. 

The studio SHAFT returns to adapt the Off Season and Monster Season books in NisiOisin's Monogatari series.
