Usa Otome will release a new manga, Madogiwa Henshū to Baka ni Sareta Ore ga, Futago JK to Dōkyo Suru Koto ni Natta, on the Comic Alive+ website in late March, according to the April edition of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine, which was announced on February 27. The manga is based on the same-titled light novel series by Ibarakino.
Plot of the story:
Mitsuhiko Okaya, a publishing company editor whose life takes an unexpected turn after a series of personal setbacks. On the same day he discovers his wife and junior colleague have betrayed him, two high school twin girls, Akari and Nanako, suddenly appear and ask to live with him. While Mitsuhiko doesn't recognize them, he feels an inexplicable sense of familiarity. As Mitsuhiko adjusts to this unusual living arrangement, he also decides to change jobs, joining a new publishing company. The story blends elements of slice-of-life, mystery, and emotional growth as Mitsuhiko navigates his new circumstances while uncovering the connection he shares with the twins.
The tale was first published by Ibarakino on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2021. On November 21, the light novel series came to a conclusion.
With illustrations by Tomozero, Kadokawa released the first book of the light novels in March 2024 and the second volume in July 2024.
