The official website for I'm Living with an Otaku, the television anime created by Yakitomato and Kotatsu The manga series NEET Kunoichi!? (NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dōsei Hajimemashita) unveiled the new main visual, new cast, and the April 5 launch date of the anime's second cours (quarter-year) on Wednesday. The new ending theme song "Darashinai Everyday" (Sloppy Everyday), which features the voices of the major characters Shizuri Ideura (Hinaki Yano), Ayame Momochi (Fairouz Ai), Hina Izumi (Saya Aizawa), and Kanae Natsumi (Hina Kino), was also unveiled by the anime's staff.

At 24:00 JST on January 4 (effectively 12 :01 JST on January 5), the anime was aired beforehand on the d Anime Store streaming site. At 1:30 a.m. JST, it was concurrently aired on the Tokyo MX, BS11, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto channels, as well as streamed on U-NEXT and Anime Hōdai.

The animation at Quad is being directed by Hisashi Saito. Masahiko Suzuki is creating the character designs, Takashi Aoshima is in charge of the series scripts, and CMJK is writing the soundtrack. The b-boy dancing unit REAL AKIBA BOYZ, which includes Shōko Nakagawa, performs the opening theme song "Neet In Jam🍓." Nakagawa is adored by REAL AKIBA BOYZ.
Plot of the story:
Tsukasa Atsumi is a salaryman who leads an ordinary, solitary life. On his way back from work one evening, he is saved from a demon attack by a mysterious woman in a ninja outfit. Introducing herself as Shizuri Ideura, she claims that demons target people like Tsukasa, who have Samurai Blood in their veins, and that her kind have been protecting them from the shadows. Told by Shizuri that the attacks are going to become more frequent, Tsukasa makes a deal to provide her with housing in exchange for his safety. To his surprise, he quickly finds out that Shizuri is a shut-in who loves to play video games whenever she is not busy with her ninja duties. As the two spend more time together, Tsukasa grows to appreciate Shizuri's company—and his feelings just might be mutual.
